I love my FaceBook. I like reading all my friends' interests and even finding new friends - people I would never have met otherwise. I post constantly. Sometimes silliness, some times music, sometimes inane rants that may or may not get self edited when the dawn comes. (Hey don't expect quality if I am somnambulating at the hour of the wolf. (See? I don't even make sense in broad daylight!) I realize there are privacy concerns, and if those things worry some one then by all means they should avoid the stress. But being called "self-absorbed" and put down for the activities one enjoys is rather annoying.
One need not agree with everyone's preferences or interests- but a little tolerance and acceptance can go a long way.
(soft rant ended- didn't want to mention it over there- I can see the firefight that would start plus I am avoiding posting there anyway)

Further rant: "If that top is top of mass stupidity I can only agree."

I've got in touch with so many old friends on my rl facebook - although I only go on that account once a week - it's great to reconnect with my hometown and teenage friends.
My VR facebook account is really usefull in a different way - for promoting events and knowing more about what other people are doing - and seeing the subsequent pics.

Mine is a mix. It is REALLY me, but under virtual name. And as in virtual, I am always "me".
