Man Of SteelKeeping my critique brief, so no spoiler worries It started off awesome, I loved the back story and it was all going nice and lovely. Junior was being hurtled to Earth and then erm some grown man on an oil rig! Yeah it was superman but... where was the crash landing and the meeting of earth parents ? Then it got all boring after that, even when Zod showed his face, I fell asleep, woke up to watch the end fight scene with Superman and General Zod, ate my popcorn and went home. What is happening to the Superman films of late! Superman returns! What a piece of crock that was! Marks 4/10 - verdict - good for insomniacs puts you to sleep.

The last one I played from start to (almost) finish was Zelda Wind-Waker on the Gamecube.
Loved the sailing, used a walkthrough for the dungeons, of course.
I wouldn't mind playing it again some day.

Wrath of the Titans
I am a big big fan of greek mythology! When films like Clash of the Titans and Wrath of the Titans came out and Immortals I was like WICKED!
Here now is my wrath!
Hollywood! What the bloody heckers you done! Oh holy Jupiter! Last night watched Wrath of the Titans and was like bored to high heaven, I felt like banging my head against Mount Olympus and kissing a cyclops. The less I say about Clash of the Titans remake and Immortals the better! Pants! Pants! Pants!
SPOILER ALERT! Perseus goes to look for his cousin (Poseiden's son) to fight Cronos, a badly rendered giant CG guy made out of volcano!
Talking about bad renders, the Chimera what the hell was that, where's the lion and goats head, it just looked like a two headed disfigured gorilla with a crappy snake for a tail.
The script well there was none.
Marks 4/10 another film that put me to sleep - Verdict - Release the Kraken!

GODZILLA 2014
*spoiler alert*
Brian Cranston was brilliant and give it that emotional depth. People complained about not seeing Godzilla enough but heck you guys where being teased. True that the film is not totally focused on Godzilla but perhaps the director was trying to bring a human element into the film.
The scenes where Zilla confronts the Mutos and then suddenly ends was a tad annoying.
To cut a long story short.......Millions of years ago the Earth was ten times more radioactive and creatures like Zilla lived. In 1954 the military used nukes to keep Zilla under control, it comes to attention that he could be the last of his species. Unfortunately the creatures known as Mutos are parasites and need the radiation from the Zilla species to fertilise the eggs. Therefore both the male and female Mutos try to prey on Zilla and thus a fight of survival ensues where humankind watches in fear.
Military are laid to waste as the EMP from the Mutos has a radius of 200 miles, it leaves all military might and technology impotent.
Zilla frazzling the female Mutos with his atomic breath is to be seen, everyone thought he was going to do a King Kong and rip the female Mutos jaw apart.
Nice movie way better than the 1998 trash! I give it a 7/10.

King's Quest - Absence Makes the Heart go Younder - 1990
Never been one to play games even though I'd always have to test them prior their release, this one caught my eye when I saw a neighbour playing it.
Searched the city and ended up having to order it in from an IBM store. Remember getting my hands on it and installing it on my 286 IBM work station under DOS 5.0 Think why I enjoyed this game was due to the cryptic nature of how you had to solve each stage of the story before you could unlock the next, or even sometimes, getting to a stage only to find out that you missed grabbing or performing something.
Think it took me a week to complete, but then again, almost every waking hour was spent engulfed in this addictive game For the time when this game was released, the graphics were stunning and it didn't require you to interact via a text interface.
