What is a Book Island event? sorry for this very late reply. Book Island event is where we showcase litrerary publications of residents, and where they can sell their publications or provide links to their websites that sells their works. Or anyone can come advertise their place aslong as it is inline with literature i.e libraries, or place of learning in-world.

I can only think of two writers in InWorldz- the Bard and one other who really, what I read was so bad I wouldn't recommend. Now, Graham- the Bard - is a published and accomplished author. He has hosted two or three "Bookiroogies" or some such - sadly, there have not been huge turn outs. He hasn't done a book reading in a long time- which unlike one I recently attended, he is pleasant to listen to and actually knows how to read So- who would be invited to such an event? We would need to go far afield I think to find enough authors. Do you know anyone, Eros- do you by chance write? I dabble a bit but nothing I would care to share randomly

I missed the Bard's reading, but did attend his last release party. That was a huge success. Think the success would be due to who is reading, and what the story is. Like Amara pointed out, we attended one, and even though I'm not familiar with the story, the reader was terrible and didn't allow me to gain interest in the story.
